Crisis Mental Health Therapist (FBH Clinician III) - Salmon Creek

About the role

Catholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinician to join our team of innovators who explore and develop new approaches and implement novel strategies. Our teams provide individualized, creative and flexible services, infused with evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies.

Responsibilities

• Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention: Provide mobile crisis response to children and youth in mental health crises, meeting with them in hospitals, community settings, or homes.
• Family-Oriented Mental Health Services: Work with families in their homes and communities, participating in an on-call rotation with other Clinicians and Clinical Care Coordinators.
• Flexible Scheduling: Work flexible hours based on the needs of those we serve, emphasizing active partnership with families and community services.
• On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call schedule to ensure timely responses to community crisis needs.
• Training and Supervision: Receive extensive training in multiple clinical approaches and weekly supervision.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or equivalent, accredited degree.
• Ability to implement Crisis Response Strategies.
• Energetic, innovative style with the ability to engage children, youth, and family members in services.
• Enthusiastic and optimistic approach, encouraging ongoing participation of all involved.
• Natural ability to work with others through a genuine strengths-based approach, appreciating unique qualities and assets of all involved.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Demonstrate the necessary attitudes, knowledge, and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.
• Ability to visually assess safety in the community and family homes.
• Valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record per CCS policy.

Pay

$90,084.80 - $100,193.60 starting salary range, with additional pay options available.

This position is based out of the Family Behavioral Health Salmon Creek office, located in North Vancouver, Vancouver, 10 miles from Portland, Oregon.
