Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic or walk-in risk/crisis screens and assessments
- Provide mobile crisis interventions for community partners, law enforcement/EMT, or individuals
- Develop and implement individualized safety and prevention plans
- Find and coordinate hospitalization for individuals
- Complete crisis documentation in the electronic health record per service standards
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field; or Associates degree in human services or related field and 2 years previous direct care experience in social services, behavioral health, school based, etc.
- High school graduate or GED and 4 years previous direct care experience in social services, behavioral health, school based, etc.
Qualifications
- Utilize contemporary crisis prevention and intervention evidence-based practices
- Work as a member of an interdisciplinary team that includes Peer Recovery Specialists, therapists, and community emergency response systems including but not limited to local law enforcement, hospitals, and emergency first responders
- Work non-traditional hours as this position is the member of a Mobile Crisis Team that serves Hendricks County and surrounding areas 24-hours per day, 7 days per week
