Crisis Center Medical Technician

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct medical and programmatic nursing care to clients who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
  • Participate in the clients healthcare education.
  • Provide direct oversight to personnel who provide medical care to clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat and stabilize behavioral health needs of individuals.

Qualifications

  • ID EMS/EMT, LP or RN license
  • Experience working with severely, chronically or mentally ill population
  • Satisfactory results of ID DHW Enhanced Fingerprinting and background checks
