We're looking for an experienced Texas Criminal Defense Legal Assistant who is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting attorneys throughout all stages of Texas criminal defense matters
  • Aiding with family law matters as needed, including pleadings, client communication, and case coordination
  • Preparing, proofreading, and filing legal documents with Texas courts
  • Managing attorney calendars, hearings, deadlines, and appointments
  • Communicating with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Organizing and maintaining electronic case files and legal documents
  • Coordinating discovery, records requests, and document management
  • Preparing hearing and trial materials, exhibits, and attorney notebooks
  • Monitoring deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules and firm standards
  • Helping deliver an exceptional client experience through proactive communication and attention to detail

Requirements

We're looking for an experienced Texas Criminal Defense Legal Assistant who is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional client service.
