Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid in overseeing theater operations.
- Assist in opening and closing the building, complete nightly paperwork, and prepare shift deposits.
- Supervise, train, and motivate theater Team Members in all departments.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to Team Members and provide follow-up to ensure an efficient operation.
- Support the management team in monitoring breaks and other minor restrictions per applicable State Law to ensure compliance.
- Assist with projection duties to ensure high standards of movie presentation.
- Maintain high quality of products, guest service, picture presentation, and guest safety.
- Assist with HR duties such as interviewing, new hire orientation, performance reviews, and employee discipline.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage in guest recovery situations, and act as a resource for questions, comments, or concerns for all guests.
- Manage inventory of concession items, ensuring adequate stock levels for business needs.
- Monitor and enforce food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Aid in the maintenance of proper emergency, safety, and security procedures.
- Aid in the management of theater Areas of Responsibility (AOR’s) including HR, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Projection, Facilities, to contribute to the overall operation and success of the theater.
Qualifications
- No formal education or experience required.
- Previous customer service and leadership experience required.
- One to two years of theater experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally sit and climb or balance.
- Must have close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
