Job Type
Part-Time
Pay
$17 - $19 per hour
Hours Required
- Minimum of 2 shifts/week
- Shift length ranging from 3-6 hrs/day
Responsibilities
- Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months -12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum
- Create a safe and positive learning environment
- Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress
- Maintain pool safety
- Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years)
- Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified)
Qualifications
- Paid training provided
- Lifeguard certification is required while employed- Courses made available to you for completion within 90 days of employment
- You are paid for training time
