Crew Leader - WAM

Responsibilities

• Supervise all wide-area mowing activities of the crew, ensuring all crew members have the required safety material, training, and tools needed to complete the job and that they are always operating safely.
• Cookout preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Teach and train situational awareness to fellow crew members in the field.
• Implement traffic control signage following DOT regulations.
• Complete a pre-trip inspection report each day.
• Cookout with branch management, customers, and employees as needed.
• Use landscaping tools and operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Safely drive crews to and from jobs, adhering to the Company's Safety Policy and ensuring the public will be safe while in contact with crews.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Two years of right-of-way landscape experience.
• DOT Certification, preferred.
• Mandatory: Safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (“MVR”).
• Strong English communication skills. Spanish a plus.
