About the role
A year-round position overseeing a small team delivering high-quality commercial landscape construction, with seasonal snow support in winter months.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a crew of 2-5 team members on job sites
- Perform and oversee installation of irrigation systems, xeriscape, retaining walls, etc.
- Operate trucks, drive trucks with trailers, and operate heavy machinery (skid steers, trenchers) and handheld landscaping tools
- Ensure job quality, safety compliance, and timely completion
- Report crew hours, complete daily paperwork, and track materials
- Train new crew members and support field onboarding
- Assist with snow removal during winter season
Requirements
- 2+ years of landscaping installation and construction experience
- Prior crew lead or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and commitment to safety
