Responsibilities
- Leads the Company’s field survey team in the field and supervises additional staff members assisting in survey assignments.
- Performs the following types of surveys: ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Route Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Construction Staking and Transportation projects for both public and private clients.
- Performs complex surveying calculations using engineering calculator, laptop computer, and coordinate geometry software.
- Adheres to QA/QC procedures and notetaking.
- Follows work orders from project managers.
- Proficiency with Leica GPS and Robotic Total Stations.
- Drives Company vehicle to and from worksites.
- Reviews and follows project scope, keeping all project information and electronic files well organized.
- Completes all assigned tasks in a timely fashion, be diligent in field procedures and always maintain company standards.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent in education and experience.
- 2+ years of survey experience including land boundary and topographic surveying.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficient with TXDOT Standards/Code lists and other survey requirements.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Hours are typically full-time, with some flexibility based on project needs.
