Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service with positive energy
• Prepare fresh food and handcrafted smoothies
• Take orders and operate the register
• Keep the café clean, stocked, and organized
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Follow food safety and company standards

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Reliable and motivated team player
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift
• Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds (e.g., stocking, refilling ice, taking out trash)
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers
• Ability to safely navigate in a fast-paced café environment
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions

Schedule

• Most shifts are between four and eight hours, but this may vary
• Early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and/or holiday hours may be required
• Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Café uniform and personal hygiene policies for each shift
