Responsible for building long-term relationships with Members. Consistently exhibits and communicates an exemplary first impression as the primary point of contact. Works to understand Members' financial needs and address each need by making appropriate product and service recommendations. Professionally exercises extraordinary service and value by providing the highest level of member service when assisting and meeting the needs of all Members in order to leave a positive impact with each encounter. Supports TTCU’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
Responsibilities
- Assist Members and non-members with lending inquiries, including loan applications, gathering information, auditing for completeness, and maintaining communication regarding loan status or concerns.
- Open new accounts, including all deposit-related products, ensuring all required information is obtained, complete, accurate, and compliant with TTCU policies, procedures, and auditing guidelines.
- Assist Members and non-members with account inquiries such as opening new accounts, account maintenance (e.g., issuing debit cards, address changes, adding joint owners), and online banking assistance.
- Complete account audits to ensure compliance with policy and procedure.
- Process member transactions efficiently to assist as many members as possible without compromising quality.
- Balance cash drawer (or dispenser/recycler) regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to credit union production and service goals by building trusting relationships, staying informed on current products and promotions, and using KeyInsight to determine Member needs and refer appropriate services.
- Perform duties in compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in business, finance, or a related discipline preferred.
- Customer service experience in banking, retail, or a related field (1 year).
- Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to become a notary public.
- Must successfully complete TTCU’s Credit Union Advisor Training Program within 60 days of hire.
- Must successfully complete CUNA’s Certified Financial Counselor Certification (FiCEP) within 12 months of hire.

Working Conditions
- Routinely perform work indoors in a climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision.
- Must be able to read and follow written and oral instructions.

- Must perform intermediate mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy.
- Capable of dealing calmly and professionally with diverse personalities and cultures under various conditions, including deadlines and fast-paced environments.

- Capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
- Must routinely perform work on a computer for 6-8 hours per day.
- Must operate office equipment such as telephones, copiers, and calculators.
- Routinely requires standing or walking for the majority of the workday; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Travel by automobile between branch locations as assigned.
- Must be able to work extended hours as required by management.
- Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situations.
