Credit Support Associate II/III- Global Markets Credit

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end credit processes including underwriting, monitoring, and documentation
  • Coordinate pre- and post-closing activities, including due diligence and approval documentation
  • Serve as a key liaison between credit teams, operations, and Global Market business partners
  • Handle complex transactions and provide support to other associates to mitigate risks
  • Support client onboarding by reviewing client prospectuses to identify risk objectives and ensure alignment with credit policies
  • Maintain compliance with credit agreements; monitor ticklers and collect financials
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues; suggest process improvements
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Lead or contribute to special projects
  • Coach and support other team members

Required Skills

  • Experience in institutional banking and Global Markets (2-5 years)
  • Knowledge of trading documentation and agreements (ISDA, MSFTA, Repo, etc.)
  • Understanding new business, including reviewing prospectuses and documentation to identify risk objectives and ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Ability to manage and analyze large data sets, using tools like Excel or BI platforms to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with credit and risk systems, and ability to navigate data across multiple platforms to support underwriting and monitoring activities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Collaborative mindset with customer focus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of trade exposure flows, including how transactions impact credit and market risk profiles
  • Knowledge of market risk concepts, such as interest rate risk, FX exposure, and counterparty risk, with ability to assess their relevance to client portfolios
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently
