About the role

The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects of medium complexity, applying strategic leadership skills and technical expertise to support the credit risk management organization. The role involves coordination efforts focused on organizational change, remediation, and risk process improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs.
  • Create a resource plan ensuring all stakeholders have a voice on the project.
  • Assess the efficiency of practices and procedures used by a team, and provide guidance to continuously improve the project plan.
  • Help internal partners make informed decisions about the development of programs, products, and services.
  • Work closely with teams to achieve common goals and negotiate deliverables and milestones.
  • Proactively identify issues that could delay projects and find solutions to course correct.
  • Maintain a project plan tailored to the team's preferred balance of quality, time, and cost.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Business or related field of study (MBA or PMP designation is an asset).
  • Experience in People Change Management methodology, principles, and tools.

Benefits

At CIBC, you’ll enjoy a competitive total rewards package, including a market-based salary range of $135,000 - $145,000 for this role, depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $135,000 - $145,000, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Schedule

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 3-4 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
