Credit Risk Finance Consultant

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Credit Risk Finance Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support financial and credit analysis for prospective and renewal accounts, helping the organization evaluate creditworthiness and financial strength. The consultant will partner closely with business leaders and underwriters to support growth objectives while balancing risk considerations. The position also plays an important role in improving workflows, increasing efficiency, and applying technology and AI-enabled solutions in a fast-paced environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and credit reviews for prospective and renewal accounts to assess financial strength and creditworthiness.
• Partner with business leaders and underwriters to support growth objectives.
• Drive department objectives to enhance processes and increase efficiency using technology and AI solutions.
• Develop understanding of workflows related to loss-sensitive insurance programs and collateral solutions.
• Anticipate the strategic direction of private equity sponsors and related credit implications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to interact with senior business partners.
• Strong Microsoft Office suite skillset, including AI products.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Process-improvement and technology-driven mindset, including leverage of AI tools and solutions.
• High degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Pay

Compensation: $102,800 – $154,200 annually
