Credit Operations Business Analyst III

Regular, full-time position. Fluency in English required. 1st shift.

About the role

Assist in developing and implementing business unit projects and strategies. Resolve day-to-day needs of assigned business unit, with focus on the analysis of internal systems, procedures or processes. Prepare reports for managers and contribute to recommendations in making strategic and operational business decisions. Serve as a technical resource for assigned system(s). Position will be filled only in the posted location. Requires intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Dealer Retail Services, Direct to Consumer, Small Business, Wealth, and Premier Portfolios.
• Support processes that manage risk for complex regulatory and compliance processes on behalf of the Community Bank.
• Assist in managing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within the team.
• Provide input to support planning and prioritization of business systems-related activities.
• Act as a subject matter expert for inter-departmental projects and assist with teammate escalated issues.
• Lead project-oriented work efforts including problem identification and resolution, performance and productivity improvement, quality enhancements, training, and delivery.
• Coordinate system(s) or program implementation, develop and test training as a result of project-related activities or policy changes.
• Gather data, create, and maintain data to compile and prepare reports, graphs, and charts to help establish procedures and quality control standards.
• Coordinate review of and updates to procedures to meet business unit changes, ensuring compliance with policies and government regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendor(s) supporting assigned system(s).
• Coordinate business unit changes with internal and external business partners to ensure continuity throughout the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Four years of banking experience.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of technical problems and solutions related to the assigned line of business.
• Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and think independently.
• Willingness to support change initiatives and process improvements.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Ability to travel, greater than 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, information systems management, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Experience in project management and system implementation.
