ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  • Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  • Review credit request/file for completeness.
  • Spread financial statement and/or tax returns.
  • Evaluate a credit request and formulate questions, if necessary to complete Report of Credit Extended (RCE).
  • Prepare an accurate, clear and concise RCE.
  • If credit request does not fit within the bank's standard lending policy and procedures, refer to other bank departments.
  • Discuss credit requests with branch personnel and Credit Management Division.
  • Aid and/or train junior credit officer/trainees to obtain/increase the understanding of the credit analysis process and improve credit skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four year college or university; a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Abilities

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly sits and talks or hears.
  • Frequently uses hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $87,612.00 To $124,846.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
