Credit Analyst (remote WA)

As a Credit Analyst, you play a key role in helping the bank make sound, responsible lending decisions that support our clients and communities. Your analysis and insights help balance growth with risk, ensuring every credit decision is thoughtful, compliant, and well supported. Responsibilities

• Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing commercial clients.
• Analyze business and personal financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and sources of repayment.
• Prepare credit approval packages, spreadsheets, summaries, and written analyses for loan decision makers.
• Support new, renewed, and existing loan requests ranging from simple to moderately complex.
• Ensure all work complies with internal policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required). An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Two or more years of related credit or financial analysis experience (Required).

Skills

• Comfortable analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow with a strong grasp of basic accounting principles.
• Solid analytical thinking and sound judgment for credit investigations.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work accurately while adapting to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of federal and state regulations related to commercial lending.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other applicable systems.

Pay

Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $30.34–$39.98 per hour
