Key Responsibilities
- Collect financial data, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, credit history, and payment records
- Maintain accurate records of credit applications and decisions
- Affirms the borrower's ability to repay, considering various factors such as their repayment history, financial health, and overall credit profile
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing analysis and recommendations, which are then used by Managers to make informed decisions
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
- Affirm credit-related issues, such as credit availability, and cash applications
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate credit setup
Requirements
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment in accounting and cash applications
- Previous experience in accounting or accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR)
- Strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers
- Energetic, with a growth-oriented mindset
- Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other relevant software
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while efficiently prioritizing activities
- Evaluation of existing processes and implementation of improvements
- A strong and dedicated work ethic, with an emphasis on productivity and quality
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
