Scope

The intern will begin work with the Credit Analysis department to assist in preparing financial statement spreads and loan memos. Should the intern want to be considered for a regular position with the bank, they will have to go through the application process.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Accounting or Finance Business Degree program and have completed 60 credit hours
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred
• Completed 6 credit hours of Accounting
• Exceptional Word and Excel skills
• Professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Sense of confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Work with loan officers to analyze the creditworthiness of existing and prospective loan customers
• Learn to spread and analyze financial statements
• Complete detailed analyses of borrowers
• Handle confidential information on a daily basis
• Maintain a high degree of attention to detail
• Follow all policies and procedures related to the internship
• Complete online customer privacy training programs
