Credit Analyst I

About the role

This position performs credit analysis, underwriting, and monitoring of the commercial loan portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

• Accurate, unbiased credit analyses within required timelines and standards.
• Cash flow analysis, credit decision summary preparation, and credit processes.
• Credit monitoring functions for designated portfolio, including financial statement spreading and review, borrowing base and covenant testing, marketable securities and leveraged lending monitoring, and annual credit reviews.
• Assigning call codes, NAICS codes, risk grade, and risk rating score data accurately.
• Reviewing appraisals and real estate evaluations.
• Using financial spreading software, loan system, cash flow analysis, and other credit systems and tools.
• Attending and participating in loan committees as requested.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree (or completion within current semester) in accounting, finance, or business.
