Credit Analyst I

About the role

This position provides upfront and ongoing credit risk assessment support for the cash flow lending portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate, unbiased credit analyses according to standards: Spread and analyze financial data;
• Credit risk assessment and analysis for credit requests, renewals, and reviews;
• Complete interim risk monitoring: Spread and review of financial data;
• Complete trend reports for borrowing base certificates;
• Complete covenant monitoring;
• Report concerns to management and relationship managers;
• Compile quarterly portfolio review reports for cash flow portfolio;
• Affiliate with ongoing stress testing of cash flow portfolio;
• Perform enterprise valuation (EV) work for trouble credits.

• Order and review third party field work, including field exams, inventory & equipment appraisals;
• Attend and participate in Specialty Lending Committee, Corporate Special Assets (as requested) and Executive Loan Committee (as requested).
• Attend and participate in department and policy meetings as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• One (1) year of related commercial credit or related analytical experience.

The following would be a plus:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
