Credit Analyst I

About the role

Dext Capital is a national, innovative financial-services company headquartered in the Portland Metro area. As a key member of Dext Capital’s corporate Credit team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the credit analysis and risk-management processes for our Application Only credit team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, including bank statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flows, business and personal credit reports.
• Formulate recommendations with appropriate credit structures to provide effective risk mitigation.
• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations through strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address appropriate credit issues.
• Build relationships with customers and various departments within the organization.
• Ensure timely review of assigned transactions and credit facilities for new requests.
• Handle special credit-related projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (business, finance or other related field preferred).
• 2 years of experience in credit/underwriting (preferably in equipment finance).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Pay

$55,000 – $65,000 per year.
