About the role

We are searching for an innovative and energetic Credit Analyst to join our North America Credit Operations team, partnering with the business to provide credit services that help improve competitive position.

Corteva Agriscience intends to separate into two independent companies on or about October 1, 2026. It is Corteva’s current intention that this position will align with the Seed Company, Vylor, at the time of the intended separation. The Vylor innovation engine will be anchored in the agriculture industry’s most elite germplasm and transformative biotech, leveraging next-generation scientific expertise in disciplines like gene editing and molecular breeding.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review loan agreement documents for errors or missing information, with follow-up work as needed.
  • Work directly with customers, sales teams, and lenders as required.
  • Assist in managing all aspects of setting up a customer account and data needed for credit review.
  • Understand PHI Financial Services Deferred Payment Loan program and processes.
  • Process financials timely and accurately.
  • Drive improvements in productivity by streamlining processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for sending credit references to lenders with follow-up until completion.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to privacy laws.
  • Support processes for charge-offs, bankruptcies, and deceased customers.
  • Handle other miscellaneous credit duties and projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related business experience.
  • Credit/Finance background preferable.
  • 2–5 years of working experience; experience in the agriculture or banking industry sector is desirable.
  • Effective communication with strong attention to detail (oral and written) skills—the ability to distill data into useful information.
  • Strong critical thinking skills—the ability to initiate creative solutions to difficult business issues.
  • Solid people skills—the ability to work well as a team member.
  • Ability to manage personal time and prioritize tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong core values—personal integrity and ethics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; SAP preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams, sales, banks, and customers.
  • Desire to continuously grow and develop credit knowledge and risk management competencies.
