Overview

About the Role
The Credit Analyst will analyze and make determinations on approval, conditioning, and rejection of retail and lease credit applications from automotive dealerships. Reporting to the Credit Supervisor, this role supports TFS objectives and maintains strong relationships with dealerships.
Responsibilities
- Maintain decision callback times at or below established objectives.
- Evaluate and negotiate deals as necessary to maintain the quality of purchases within established guidelines.
- Advise management of any problems or irregularities pertaining to retail, lease, or wholesale financing, breaches of trust, or other violations of TMCC plans.
- Monitor dealer trends and identify and report adverse issues.
- Partner with Credit Investigation as needed.
Requirements
- Relevant work experience in automotive retail and/or wholesale financing, retail credit, collections, dealership financial statements, or wholesale.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible and rotating schedule (8 am – 5 pm, 9 am – 6 pm & 11 am – 8 pm, and every other Saturday).
- Ability and willingness to work a hybrid work schedule; working both in the office and at primary & private residences as scheduled.
Qualifications

- Relevant work experience such as retail credit, collections, dealership financial statements, or wholesale.
