Credit Analyst

We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join our Crystal Lake team. Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statement spreads on a timely basis for businesses and individuals, including cash flow analysis, line usage charts, and financial projections as assigned by the Credit Manager to support the Commercial Lending Department.
- Prepare detailed written credit analyses on all commercial loans required in accordance with the Bank’s commercial loan policy. These analyses support existing and new loan relationships and are often presented to the Directors’ Loan Review Committee for approval. Propose appropriate credit risk ratings for loans and identify loan policy exceptions.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of appraisals that secure commercial real estate transactions to ensure the appraiser used sound methodology.
- Perform evaluations for existing commercial real estate (CRE) loans.
- Assist the Credit Manager in tracking financial statement information, obtaining external credit reports, and gathering industry data to support the Bank’s loan portfolio analysis.
- Complete the underwriting process for retail loan requests, including review of title documentation, financial analysis, and appraisal review.
- Participate in the Bank’s development and training programs to further skills and/or promote bank services.
- Interact professionally with the loan department, borrowers, and third-party representatives such as appraisers and accountants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, or Business) or commensurate experience.
Schedule
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Onsite in Crystal Lake, IL (local candidates only; no relocation provided).
- Occasional local travel may be required.

Pay
$21.37–$32.10 hourly wage.
