Credit Analyst

About the role

This Credit Analyst position supports two key areas of loan function: Sales and Loan Production. The role maintains a high level of accuracy in the credit process by being familiar with loan procedures, the structure of credit, collateralization perfection, and sound file documentation based on credit type.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sound lending decisions by providing accurate credit file documentation to business bankers.
• Assist in mitigating risks by ensuring credit is documented in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Support the internal loan review function, external independent loan review, and regulatory examinations conducted by IDOB and FDIC.
