Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Credit Analyst to support our Commercial Lending Unit.
About the Role
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for loan processing, loan maintenance, compliance, and other administrative tasks supporting the Commercial Lending Unit.
Responsibilities
- Collect necessary documents from clients and maintain well organized credit files.
- Generate relevant financial ratios including DCRs under the supervision of a portfolio manager.
- Aid in loan closing and funding, obtaining signatures on loan documents according to the Bank’s procedures.
- Prepare and present simple credit memos for approval by appropriate lending authority.
- Maintain and monitor loan covenants and conditions per loan agreements.
- Report covenant/condition violations and approve modifications and cash secured loans.
- Process daily line advances for lines of credit and follow up on expired insurance policies.
- Prepare internal reports and payments such as LAR, monthly G/L certification, and invoices.
- Conduct site visits and on-site interviews under the supervision of a portfolio manager.
- Comply with regulatory requirements including Reg B, HMDA, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, USA Patriot Act, CRA, Privacy, and Security.
- Review and comply with the End-User Computing Agreement and acquire knowledge on computer systems.
- Be current and knowledgeable in industry trends for safeguarding the Bank against confidential data leaks, identity theft, fraudulent activities, and computer security threats.
- Report suspicious activities to manager, Chief Risk Officer, or Information Security Officer.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum Education Level: Associates Degree preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- English: Written: Advanced, Verbal: Fluent.
- Korean: Written: Intermediate, Verbal: Conversational.
- Computer/Systems Knowledge Requirements: Basic Required: Excellent written and oral communication skills, Excellent presentation skills.
Benefits
The salary range for this full-time position is $26.45 - $28.85 annually + bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
