Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
- Provide, present, and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
- Critique Reports of Credit Extended on loan requests submitted for approval by branch loan officers.
- Aid branches/departments in structuring new and renewed loan requests: Perform personal cash flow analysis and spreadsheets, check for accuracy, and correct if necessary.
- Approve loans within delegated approval authority or recommend loans for approval exceeding these limits.
- Prepare inter-office memos advising branches of loan approval conditions or reasons for declines.
- Review Reports for Credit Extended for loans approved by the branch for policy or technical deficiencies, loan quality, and assign an appropriate loan grade.
- Prepare internal memos citing policy exceptions or weaknesses found in each loan request.
- Review weekly delinquency reports and work diligently with branches in their collection strategies.
- Aid Senior Management with seriously delinquent loans and OREO's as required.
- Attend monthly DLC meetings and discuss new and renewed loans, delinquent loans, and any adversely rated loans.
- Review real estate appraisals and prepare an appraisal review form.
- Review customer files requiring annual term loan financial statement/tax return updates and recommend loan grade changes if appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mental Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Reasoning Abilities: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Pay
Salary Range: $191,292.00 To $286,938.00 Annually Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
