Credentialing Specialist - Hybrid - Springfield, MO

Overview

Coordinates accurate verification of approximately 8,000 practitioner files for initial appointment and reappointment within established time frames and in accordance with the standards required by the accrediting/regulatory agencies for all Mercy Network, Mercy Clinic and Mercy Hospitals.

Position Details

• Education: Bachelor's degree or previous data entry or credentialing experience may be substituted for education.
• Experience: Previous credentialing or database entry experience preferred.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work in a demanding and fast-paced work environment.
• Analytical experience preferred.
• Certifications: Valid certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services management (CPMSM) preferred. Certification must be passed within two years of becoming eligible for exam.
