Credentialing Specialist - CVO

Responsibilities

  • Data intake and collection from primary sources and other resources for practitioner applications in the BayCare System.
  • Establish and maintain electronic credential files for assigned practitioners.
  • Complete the data gathering process within established guidelines for turnaround time, accuracy, and in accordance with external requirements (accreditation, federal, and state).

Requirements

  • Currently residing in the State of Florida.
  • Full-time position (non-exempt).
  • Work shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • One year healthcare practitioner credentialing environment (physicians, mid-levels) or three years processing healthcare practitioners for appointment/reappointment, utilizing credentialing software and electronic primary source verification.
