Credentialing and Payer Enrollment Supervisor
Brief Description
Job Description: Seeking an experienced, dependable and motivated supervisor to manage our Credentialing and Payer Enrollment Department. The role is responsible for overseeing and assisting with daily operations of the credentialing department which would include verifying a provider’s credentials and enrolling them with all contracted payers. Supervisor will guide a team to ensure accurate and timely processes, while complying with regulatory requirements and maintain strong relationships with providers, payers, and internal departments.
About the Role
The role requires knowledge of credentialing and payer enrollment processes and previous supervisory experience. Excellent communication, organizational, computer and telephone skills are desirable. Flexible daytime hours Monday- Friday with potential for working remotely once training is complete.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist with daily operations of the credentialing department
- Verify a provider’s credentials and enroll them with all contracted payers
- Guide a team to ensure accurate and timely processes
- Comply with regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong relationships with providers, payers, and internal departments
Requirements
- Knowledge of credentialing and payer enrollment processes preferred
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experienced in managing credentialing and payer enrollment processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in using computers and telephones
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of credentialing and payer enrollment processes
