Credentialing & Payor Enrollment Specialist
Position Summary
Perform the enrollment process for new employed physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants (providers).
Assist with re-credentialing for all established employed providers-both medical group and hospital based (Approx 400) with various managed care plans and government programs.
Care for the coordination of enrollment forms, accessing and updating CAQH database, and assisting providers in completing the enrollment/participation process with various payers and plans.
Afford assistance with physician mailings, maintaining open lines of communication with health plans, and developing familiarity with governmental and managed care plan credentialing processes.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2 years of healthcare credentialing and payor experience
