Credentialed Veterinary Technician OR Veterinary Assistant

Harbor Point Animal Hospital is a tight-knit team of animal lovers, caretakers, and passionate professionals delivering gold-standard care while making every client and patient feel seen, heard, and valued. We're searching for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our full-time team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgery, monitor anesthesia, run diagnostics, and support dental cleanings
- Place catheters, draw blood, and collect samples
- Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues throughout patient care
- Work alongside the team in a collaborative, hands-on environment
- Apply Fear Free handling techniques to keep pets calm and comfortable
Requirements
- 1-2 years hands-on veterinary experience
- Confidence in catheter placement, blood draws, and sample collection
- Passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment where every voice matters
- Willingness to grow in a practice that invests in your development
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with Fear Free Handling
- Experience speaking with clients about their pet's care
- Team player mindset with a focus on learning and teaching
Schedule
- Full-time, Day shift
- 10-hour shifts
- Rotating weekends
- Holiday coverage as part of the rotation
