What is Hunch? Hunch is a dating app built for follow-through - designed to turn mutual interest into a real first date instead of another chat thread that fizzles out. Built for people tired of mindless swiping and commodified matchmaking, Hunch uses an AI matchmaker to cut the week of back-and-forth and get two interested people out of the app and into the same room. With 2.4M+ daters, 1.47M+ dates planned, and 100% photo-verified profiles, Hunch is growing fast in the US by challenging the swipe-left/right norm of traditional apps. Hunch is a Series A funded ($23 Million) startup building the future of social discovery in a post-AI world. Link to our fundraising announcement Key Offerings Of Hunch One Drop a Day: A small, hand-picked set of photo-verified profiles arrives daily - chosen for taste, lifestyle, and who's actually free to meet. So every profile gets real attention instead of a mindless swipe.Interest Becomes a Plan: When both people want to meet, Hunch's AI matchmaker turns mutual interest into a confirmed date with a real time and place - no logistics to manage.Every Match, Verified: Every profile is matched to a live photo before it appears in anyone's drop. No bots, no catfishing - just real, trustworthy connections.Built to Move: Chats close after seven days and users hold a few conversations at a time - nudges designed to get people out the door, not scrolling forever. About The Role We are looking for a Creator Support & Community Coordinator to be the day-to-day point of contact for the creators in the Hunch Creators Guild. You will handle creator questions from first reply to resolution, guide new creators through onboarding, keep the community active and informed, and make sure every creator knows where they stand on analytics and payouts. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for someone who enjoys working directly with creators and takes pride in clear, honest communication. You will work closely with the Guild leads, who set strategy and briefs, and what you hear from creators will shape how the program evolves. What You Will Do Your week is the creators' week. The Guild runs on a fixed rhythm and you own every creator-facing step of it. Be the first reply. Watch the Discord and the bot's hand-off channels every working day. Answer creator questions on briefs, hooks, posting rules, analytics and payouts within a few hours during US daytime. Take over any thread the bot could not resolve and close it properly, not just reply to it.Run onboarding. Welcome every new creator, make sure they link their TikTok, post their first video and understand how they get paid. Host the weekly onboarding call (Thursdays, 2 pm US Eastern) and keep the walkthrough materials current.Keep analytics compliance honest and kind. Every week creators submit a screen recording of their TikTok or Instagram analytics so we can verify US views. You chase the ones who have not submitted, explain rejections in plain language, and help the ones who are struggling with the recording itself.Handle payout questions and disputes. Creators are paid monthly on a views ladder with a few eligibility rules. You explain how a creator's number was reached, collect missing bank details, flag genuine errors to the payments owner, and hold the line when the rules were applied correctly.Carry creator feedback inward. Keep a short weekly note of what creators are confused by, frustrated by, or asking for. Bring it to the weekly Guild sync with proposed fixes, and follow up until the fix ships or is declined.Write the docs creators actually read. Own the FAQ, the payout explainer, the analytics how-to, the welcome sequence and the internal support playbook for each kind of ticket. When the same question appears three times, the answer becomes a doc or a bot reply.Keep the records straight. Creator records in our dashboard (TikTok and Instagram handles, bank-detail status, journey stage, notes from support threads) are only useful if they are right. You keep them right, and you prepare the weekly numbers for the Guild sync: new joiners, submissions, open threads, drop-offs.Test before creators do. New bot flows, DM sequences and forms get tried by you first on the test server. You file what breaks and what reads badly before a creator ever sees it.Recognise the good ones. Spot creators who post consistently, hit milestones or help others. Celebrate them in the server and pass their names to the team for bonuses, features and referral invites.Protect the community. Spot and report botted views, fake analytics, duplicate accounts and non-US creators posing as US. Escalate with evidence, never accuse in public. What This Role Is Not Not a lead. There is no team to manage and no hiring plan behind this seat. Not a strategist. Briefs, hook direction, payout rates and program design are set by the Guild leads. You feed them, you do not own them. Not a content job. You will not shoot, edit or write videos. You will read a lot of them. Not a growth job. Recruiting creators is a separate function. You take over once a creator has applied. Not a nine-to-five in your own timezone. The creators are American and most of them are online in the US afternoon and evening. What Good Looks Like First 30 days. You know the Guild's rules, channels and payout ladder cold. You have handled every open support thread yourself at least once and have run two onboarding calls. The leads are no longer the first reply in the server. By 60 days. Median first reply to a creator is under four hours in US daytime. The weekly analytics submission rate is up because creators understand what is being asked. You have rewritten the FAQ and the payout explainer and creators link to them unprompted. By 90 days. The leads have not answered a routine creator DM in a month. Your weekly creator-feedback note has produced at least three changes to how the Guild works. Creators name you, not the bot, when they talk about support. Who You Are Must-haves You write clearly and warmly in English, and you write a lot. Most of this job happens in DMs and channel replies, so your writing is the product. We will ask for samples. You have a history of working with integrity that someone we can call will vouch for. You have handled money, rules or disputes with people who depended on you, and you did not cut corners, play favourites or tell people what they wanted to hear. You have spent one to two years in a support, community, customer-success or account-management role where you were the person users talked to, not the person who wrote the strategy. You are fluent in Discord as a member and as a moderator: roles, threads, pins, bots, when to DM and when to reply in channel. You can work at least five hours a day overlapping with 12 pm to 9 pm US Eastern, Monday to Friday, and you can cover the Thursday 2 pm Eastern onboarding call. You are patient with repetitive questions and firm about rules. Both at once. You notice details: a handle typed wrong, a payout that does not match the ladder, a creator who has quietly stopped posting. You already use AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to draft, summarise and speed up routine work, and you know when not to trust them. You pick up new tools fast. Our dashboard, bot and forms are home-built and change every week. Nice-to-haves You have worked with creators who get paid on performance: a clipping network, an affiliate program, a creator marketplace or an ambassador program. You have run or moderated a creator Discord of a few hundred people or more. You have worked a ticket queue in Zendesk, Intercom or a similar helpdesk, or kept a CRM like Attio or HubSpot clean. You have been a creator yourself and know what a late or unexplained payout feels like from the other side. You have built an FAQ, help centre or onboarding sequence from scratch. You are comfortable posting short updates in the server under your own name and occasionally appearing on camera for a walkthrough. You can be anywhere in the world. We care about the hours overlap and the person, not the passport. What We Offer Competitive pay along with an annual performance-linked incentive (PLI).Employee benefits like Medical Insurance.Participation in Employee Phantom Grants Program (Stock Options). Life at Hunch Hunch is a small team focused on shipping the parts of dating that usually stall - getting two interested people into the same room. What We Hire For - The ABCs Most companies have a long list of values nobody remembers. We have three, and they show up in how we hire, what we ship, and how we talk about the work: Authenticity - Real before polished. We build for real people on real first dates, and we hire the same way. No theater. If something's not working, say so; if it is, ship it.Boldness - Dating got stuck because nobody wanted to break the pattern. We make the call on what to ship, what to cut, and what doesn't belong in the product, even when it's the harder choice.Curiosity - The best people here ask a lot of small, useful questions — about users, about the data, about each other's work. We trust people who keep learning over people who already know. How We Work Ownership, not theater - You own outcomes, not status updates. Fewer meetings, fewer dashboards, more shipping.Flexibility that's real - We care about the work, not the hours you sit at a desk. Take the afternoon, take the week - show up for the stuff that matters.Move fast, don't burn out - Hunch ships quickly because we cut the slow stuff, not because we work people into the ground. Velocity comes from focus, not from hours.Small team, big problems - You'll work on things that matter to millions of people trying to actually meet someone. Every role moves the product.
