About The Role We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Creative Writing Educator to lead an engaging after-school program and help students develop their writing, storytelling, and creative expression skills. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-4:30 PM Estimated Start Date: September 14, 2026 Estimated End Date: December 3, 2026 Hourly Pay Rate: $50 In this role, you will: Lead an engaging after-school Creative Writing program for students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th gradeEnsure student safety and well-being at all timesFoster creativity, confidence, self-expression, and communication skills through writing activitiesPlan and lead engaging creative writing lessons, storytelling exercises, and skill-building activitiesAdapt instruction to different ages, writing levels, learning styles, and interestsEncourage students to explore their imagination, develop their own ideas, and express themselves through writingFacilitate positive social interactions, collaboration, and peer feedbackEffectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement and an encouraging approachMaintain accurate attendance and incident recordsPrepare and organize writing materials and activities, keeping the classroom space clean, organized, and safe Requirements 18+ years of ageAbility and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date.
