Duties
- Teach 1 section of Writing to 7th graders and/or 8th graders for 12 weeks from September - December 2026.
- Provide 70 mins of instruction between 4:45-6:15 pm each Tuesday or Thursday (exact dates TBD).
- Use Google Classroom and assign up to 1 hour of homework weekly.
- Collect and grade Fellow homework weekly.
- Attend pre-semester new instructor meeting.
- Attend 30 min weekly planning meeting.
- Provide midterm and final grades, including writing student comments.
Qualifications
- Teaching experience at the middle or high school level.
- Experience teaching Writing to 7th or 8th graders.
- Valid US citizenship or a valid work visa.
Pay
Salary range is $2,800 - $3,000, experience depending.
