About the role
A Series A AI-native marketing automation startup is hiring a Growth Designer to own creative execution across brand, product launches, content, community, and growth experiments.
Responsibilities
- Create end-to-end content, from concept and scripting to shooting, editing, publishing, and performance tracking.
- Turn product features, workflows, and customer use cases into clear, compelling stories that resonate with technical and growth audiences.
- Ideate and run growth experiments across new channels, formats, hooks, trends, and content styles.
- Support the development of ambitious creative programs, such as educational content, community initiatives, and branded programming.
- Design and produce events and programming, including hack nights, speaker series, tactical sessions, dinners, and meetups.
- Build and nurture community through onboarding experiences, digital channels, live events, and recurring programming.
- Create lightweight systems to keep projects organized, including calendars, Airtable trackers, speaker pipelines, content schedules, and program workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, sales, design, and marketing to translate complex ideas into sharp creative output.
- Track performance, learn quickly from what works, and iterate with speed and taste.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in growth, content, brand, product marketing, creative strategy, or a related creative role, ideally at a startup.
- Clear ownership of creative output, not just strategy or coordination.
- Demonstrable creative range across copywriting, short-form video, landing pages, social content, campaigns, or community programming.
- Strong portfolio, personal website, public body of work, side project, newsletter, social account, creative page, or other shipped work that shows real creative taste and execution.
- Strong storytelling instincts, with the ability to turn technical product details into narratives, not just feature lists.
- Comfortable using creative tools, including Figma or similar design tools, video editing tools, content platforms, and lightweight project management systems.
- Strong aesthetic judgment and attention to detail across every asset, from thumbnails and emails to slides and landing pages.
- Able to manage multiple fast-moving projects without losing quality or momentum.
- Comfortable with outreach across social media, digital communities, partners, creators, and potential collaborators.
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, design, and leadership.
- Excited by high-intensity, in-person startup environments with significant ownership and autonomy.
