Job Summary/Description

  • Produce end-to-end creative: develop concepts, write scripts, shoot video, edit, and deliver finished spots and promos.
  • Create multi-platform campaigns for station image, special projects, news promotion, and marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales to create effective, client-focused commercial creative from brainstorm to final approval.
  • Collaborate across teams (news, digital, sales, production) to keep projects on track and aligned with priorities.
  • Manage multiple deadlines with strong organization, clear communication, and attention to detail.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables while keeping the work fresh and audience-first.
  • Stay current on video trends, editing techniques, platform best practices, and creative storytelling.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on video production experience (commercial, promo, marketing, film or newsroom production).
  • Strong editing skills and storytelling instincts.
  • Experience shooting with professional cameras and capturing quality audio.
  • Ability to write clear, persuasive scripts (and take feedback well).
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Solid communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-first mindset.

Preferred

  • Experience creating content for social, digital, and streaming platforms.
  • Motion graphics experience (After Effects or similar).
  • Understanding of marketing strategy, branding, and campaign performance.
  • Familiarity with broadcast workflows, traffic/delivery specs, and media formats.
