Creative Services Producer

About the role

NewsCenter1 KNBN, the NBC station in Rapid City, SD, is seeking a talented Video Editor / Videographer / Graphics Artist / Promotion Producer.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients or company management to understand project needs
• Develop scripts and creative ideas based on conversations with clients
• Set up and operate necessary video/lighting equipment to film
• Identify and capture creative shots while filming
• Mutate and edit footage to tell compelling stories no matter the project scope/size
• Add music, dialogues, graphics and effects that lend to the storytelling
• Proof final product sales team within department deadlines
• Provide assistance with graphic design for client and internal needs for digital ads and social media graphics
• Maintain prompt and reliable attendance

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere CC & After Effects CC, Adobe Suite, and Photoshop
• Proficiency with PC Based Workstations/Software (Windows11/10)
• Video/photography shooting basics, exposure, spot principles, with stage and lighting experience
• Experience shooting footage with DSLR or other HD cameras, and with graphic design/motion graphics
• Experience with trans-coding video to various formats, and using web-based applications for upload and distribution
• Basic knowledge of DVD authoring HTML 5 animation experience preferred, but not required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company
• Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company

Pay

Expected compensation for this role is between $20 and $25/hour, based on qualifications and experience.
