About the role
Develop client commercials, promotions, and image campaigns from concept to completion. A reel must be submitted to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate client commercial production including shooting and editing
- Collaborate with local stakeholders and company peers on conceptualization and production of on-air station image and promotion, with a primary focus on news
- Maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles while employing strong customer service skills
- Create animations and edit projects on deadline
- Work within After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management systems
- Translate brand visual identity and style guides into day-to-day project creation
- Manage day-to-day multi-tasking and multiple projects simultaneously, with flexibility in breaking news situations
- Communicate project status, assets needed, expectations, and provide customer service across a large group
Requirements & Skills
- College degree preferred
- Advanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats
- Broad understanding of marketing and design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Media Encoder) on a PC platform
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of fundamental design, color, typography, and composition
- Ability to meet all deadlines, fulfill scheduling commitments, and consistently achieve deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Strong communication skills
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, and conduct face-to-face discussions
- Make decisions without supervision and impact the results of co-workers
- Work near others, outdoors in all weather conditions, and indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
- Lift, set up, and operate equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
- Handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls; repetitive movements are required
- Work in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions
