Creative Project Manager
About the role
The Creative Project Manager role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days/week reporting on-site to one of the following office locations: New York City, Boston, or Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the creative team, overseeing projects from planning through delivery.
- Advocate for the creative team and remove obstacles.
- Spearhead process improvements and find solutions that accommodate all team members.
- Create and manage the creative timeline, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Proactively flag potential threats to deadlines and work collaboratively with the team to find resolutions.
- Manage all creative requests, working with the creative lead to confirm necessary deliverables, assets, and information.
- Collaborate with creative resourcing for program staffing and identify when additional resources are needed.
- Support the creative lead with scoping during the planning phase of all projects, including involvement in the PM grid process.
- Manage hours for your creative team in Deltek and work closely with Account Operations to resolve any inaccuracies.
- Schedule and lead creative status meetings, organize creative team check-ins, and take notes to ensure alignment on next steps.
- Set up and maintain creative folders and Slack channels for your assigned programs.
Requirements
- Experience working in Creative Operations or as a Creative Project Manager.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in a creative capacity.
- Experience juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience supporting a team of 5-10 creatives.
- Experience with project management software.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to “speak the language” of other departments.
- Comfortable presenting to people in leadership positions.
- Passion for going above and beyond.
- Experience working on large scale events or conferences.
- Experience creating and owning timelines.
- Experience quickly adapting when problems arise during a project.
- Experience with Google Suite.
- Experience in ClickUp or Monday (a plus).
- Confidence pushing back when the team is not receiving the information they need.
- Ability to think big picture and distill it down into actionable plans.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Your Experience
- 3-5 years of previous industry/agency experience.
- 4 years college degree, preferred in Marketing/Advertising/Event Management/Business Administration, Hospitality, Communications, or related field.
- Ability to travel 10%.
- Ability to work irregular hours in addition to normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay
Salary Range: $75k - $90k
Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) experience, skills, and location.
