MarketingContract
Job #: 3053220 – 6‑month contract based in Milwaukee, WI.
About the Role
You will own the creative process behind the company’s social content – organic and paid – from brief through final delivery. You will shape the brief, drive concepting and design with the creative team, and move every asset through the review and approval process on a timeline that holds. You will sit on the Creative Production team and partner daily with marketing business partners, creative discipline leads, video production, media, compliance, and external agency partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple social creative projects from brief through final delivery, handling both the monthly always‑on calendar and campaign flights simultaneously.
- Review and verify creative briefs to ensure business objectives, audience, and channel requirements are settled before concepting starts.
- Resource and manage a team of copywriters, designers, and creative leads.
- Own the end‑to‑end review process: schedule and run business‑partner rounds, consolidate feedback, route assets through compliance, and drive each round to a decision.
- Partner with the video producer on video assets, aligning shoot and post schedules to the review calendar and ensuring timely, on‑spec delivery.
- Build and maintain timelines that account for multiple rounds of review, adjusting honestly when a round runs long.
- Track disclosure and disclaimer requirements by placement and ensure accurate versioning when requirements change.
- Write and send a weekly creative status update that provides a truthful read on every workstream, highlighting risks and required decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with marketing business partners, creative discipline leads, media partners, and external agencies, including scoping and estimate conversations.
- Identify risk early (scope creep, timeline compression, budget exposure, compliance rework) and escalate with recommended solutions.
- Own quality control on delivered assets, following visual QA processes and confirming platform specifications before handoff.
- Close the loop with performance data where available and apply learnings to subsequent briefs.
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- By day 30: Pick up the in‑flight social calendar with no missed delivery dates, know the business partners for each workstream, and have the weekly status report sent under your name.
- By day 60: Run concept and review cycles independently and build timelines that hold, based on learned round counts for each asset type.
- By day 90: Become the go‑to owner for business partners and flag at least one area where the concept‑to‑approval process can be tightened.
Requirements
- Five or more years producing creative in an agency or in‑house team, with social as a primary focus.
- Demonstrated ownership of the concept‑through‑approval process: briefing, guiding concepts, consolidating stakeholder feedback, and closing reviews.
- Working fluency in Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, including native specs, aspect ratios, safe zones, and cut‑down requirements.
- Understanding of the video process (scripting, storyboards, edit stages, post) to scope, schedule, and direct video producers and editors.
- Comfort producing in a regulated environment with compliance review, disclosure language, and fixed timelines.
- Proven capacity to manage many concurrent deliverables—tracking several dozen assets across organic, paid, and field workstreams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Workfront or an equivalent enterprise project‑management system.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and online review tooling.
- Self‑starter attitude, meticulous note‑keeping, and timely escalation.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in financial services or with financial clients.
- Concepting creator, influencer, or user‑generated content, including talent coordination and usage rights.
- Experience across paid social and paid digital alongside organic, coordinating delivery with media buying schedules.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted production tools for resizing, versioning, and variant generation.
- Experience working with external agency partners on scopes, estimates, and statements of work.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other supplemental insurance plans.
- Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) and 401(k) with company match after 12 months.
- Health Savings Account (HSA) on HDHP plan.
- SupportLinc Employee Assistance Program (up to 8 free counseling sessions).
- Corporate discount savings program and other discounts.
- On‑demand training, certification prep, and a library of technical and leadership courses after 6 months.
- Certification discounts and perks for associations such as CompTIA and IIBA.
- Dedicated customer service team for consultants and a certified Career Coach.
