About the Role
As the Manager of Creative Marketing Operations, you’ll immerse yourself in pop culture—binge-watching shows, seeing the latest movies, and staying ahead of trends—while coordinating content production around these trends. This role focuses on the daily operations and implementation of marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring creative and communications align across all of Funko’s marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Build efficient project pipelines for all teams across the Creative Marketing Organization, including external partners.
- Estimate, schedule, and track projects effectively, resolving production issues as they arise.
- Recruit and hire freelance resources for projects when needed.
- Supervise the creation of all brand and promotional assets.
- Coordinate content planning and calendar, inputting creative needs across the business.
- Develop and execute a process to audit creative requests.
- Meet with Retail, DTC, Fun Entertainment, and B2B teams to create content briefs aligned with the overall communication strategy.
- Keep all teams apprised of product line-up updates that may impact creative.
- Work closely with teams to ensure a fully integrated approach to campaign and content development.
- Manage a marketing operations team, including the licensor approvals team.
- Manage the Asana project management system on behalf of the Creative Marketing Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, PR, or a related field (required).
- 6+ years of professional content marketing experience (required).
- Experience with Asana (required).
- Ability to develop and communicate a clear point-of-view.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify potential risks and strategize around roadblocks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution.
- Experience with content management and project management software.
- Demonstrated innovation and initiative, with a willingness to dive into details and improve processes.
- Comfort with ambiguity while maintaining a marked attention to detail.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
