Creative Manager, Graphic Design - Loungefly

About the Role

As the Manager, Creative, you will lead Loungefly’s team of Graphic Designers in creating innovative product designs, guiding task prioritization, and communicating project expectations. You will coach and develop a high-performing team while demonstrating cross-functional leadership to improve product go-to-market strategies. This role reports to the Sr. Creative Director of Loungefly’s Creative team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide strategic graphic design direction, inspiring the team to deliver innovative product concepts aligned with brand standards.
• Directly contribute to product creation and graphic revisions to meet deadlines and creative objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with product briefs and market trends.
• Work with the Senior Product Operations Manager to prepare and report on project status in the product creation lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and resolve challenges in the design process through effective communication.
• Execute key creative product initiatives, driving innovation and elevating brand storytelling.

Requirements

• Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or Development (or equivalent experience).
• 3–6 years of experience in fashion/softlines creative or product design and development.
• 1–3 years of direct leadership experience managing and coaching a creative team.
• Strong eye for fashion, style, trends, and techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to lead a creative team in production workflow processes.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $90,610 – $110,500 annually, with potential variations based on qualifications, experience, and location. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

Work Environment

• On-site position based in Burbank, CA (local candidates preferred).
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
• Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear; frequently reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, lift up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
