Responsibilities
- Research and develop title and thumbnail concepts; brief and manage thumbnail designers
- Create storylines and sub-plots for upcoming and already-filmed episodes, including coaching sessions where the narrative is determined by what the coach finds on the day
- Write scripts, voiceovers, and retention devices for each video
- Own the review process across the full editing pipeline: 1 to 2 raw editors, 1 editor (hook, ad segment, outro, VFX), 1 colorist, 1 sound designer, 1 technical manager
- Perform final creative checks before every publish
Requirements
- Highly resourceful and highly creative
- See the long-term vision and improve on it
- Hyper meticulous on reviews; maintain high standards that do not slip
- Clear communicator with maniacal urgency
- Wants to build the greatest golf channel in the world
Nice to Have
- Background in sports, documentary, or long-form YouTube
- Experience managing distributed creative teams
- Comfort in a fast-moving, startup-style environment
