Responsibilities

  • Research and develop title and thumbnail concepts; brief and manage thumbnail designers
  • Create storylines and sub-plots for upcoming and already-filmed episodes, including coaching sessions where the narrative is determined by what the coach finds on the day
  • Write scripts, voiceovers, and retention devices for each video
  • Own the review process across the full editing pipeline: 1 to 2 raw editors, 1 editor (hook, ad segment, outro, VFX), 1 colorist, 1 sound designer, 1 technical manager
  • Perform final creative checks before every publish

Requirements

  • Highly resourceful and highly creative
  • See the long-term vision and improve on it
  • Hyper meticulous on reviews; maintain high standards that do not slip
  • Clear communicator with maniacal urgency
  • Wants to build the greatest golf channel in the world

Nice to Have

  • Background in sports, documentary, or long-form YouTube
  • Experience managing distributed creative teams
  • Comfort in a fast-moving, startup-style environment
