Creative Director
About the role
The Creative Director leads the visual identity and creative output across the entire BHC portfolio. This is a hands-on creative leadership role responsible for defining the aesthetic standard for every property and ensuring that standard is maintained across every visual touchpoint, from integrated campaigns and photo shoots to in-room collateral, event signage, menus, digital content, and experiential installations. Each BHC property has a distinct character. The Creative Director’s work is to understand those distinctions at a granular level and translate them into visual language that is specific, consistent, and recognizably BHC without being homogeneous.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead creative direction from concept through execution across all formats: integrated marketing campaigns, social content, experiential activations, digital advertising, print collateral, in-room materials, event signage, menus, and environmental graphics.
- Craft high-impact layouts, storyboards, and visual narratives for client-facing presentations and internal creative reviews, translating strategic objectives into cohesive visual concepts.
- Drive the visual development of BHC’s marquee events and seasonal moments, including culinary weekends, brand partnerships, and holiday activations, delivering campaign toolkits and content that amplify visibility and engagement.
- Stay current on emerging design trends, social formats, and cultural shifts, and proactively introduce ideas that advance BHC’s creative work.
- Plan and execute photo shoots, video content, and multimedia campaigns in close partnership with cross-functional teams, providing clear direction on set and ensuring a consistent aesthetic throughout production.
- Select, brief, and oversee external collaborators including photographers, stylists, illustrators, motion designers, and production vendors, ensuring creative alignment and brand consistency across all executions.
- Develop and maintain a centralized asset library and brand system, including photography, templates, iconography, and campaign creative, ensuring quality, consistency, and ease of access across BHC teams and partners.
- Uphold and evolve the visual identity of BHC and each property across all channels, maintaining distinction between properties while reinforcing the portfolio’s cohesive brand architecture.
- Partner with General Managers, marketing leaders, and events teams to tailor creative outputs that reflect the unique identity and guest experience of each property.
- Define and track creative performance metrics, including engagement, brand consistency, and campaign impact, and use insights to inform future creative decisions.
- Manage creative budgets and production spend with discipline and transparency.
