Creative Design and Research Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

This role offers opportunities for students pursuing degrees in Product Design, Transportation Design, User Experience, or related fields to gain hands-on experience through creative design and research projects. Positions are based in Torrance, California.

Responsibilities

• Creating business cases for new physical and digital products, services, and proposals.
• Collaborating with Business Analytics teams to support project development.
• Supporting styling teams with concept materials, sketches, and data modeling for vehicles or parts.
• Assisting with color, graphics, materials, UX/UI graphics, and animations.
• Participating in meetings, working with internal teams to develop concepts through story telling and modeling.
• Researching market trends and future customer preferences.

Qualifications

• Major coursework in relevant fields with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Enrollment as a sophomore or higher in a bachelor's or master's program.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License (or ability to secure transportation).

Pay
