Creative Content Manager

About the role
The Creative Content Manager oversees the brand’s content strategy and production, supporting the marketing department in delivering cohesive, on-brand design and content across digital, print, and social media channels. This role is designed to grow our brand’s influence, engagement, and revenue through creating highly effective content strategies. The Creative Content Manager plays a critical role in translating high-level strategy developed with the Marketing and Communications Director into day-to-day marketing output by leading content, managing content calendars, ensuring brand consistency, and analyzing performance metrics. This is an in-office, full-time position based in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and participate in meetings, recaps, and regular reporting
- Create and implement ongoing content strategies aligned with goals and target audiences
- Plan, create, edit, and oversee high-quality content consistent with brand voice and standards, including design, photo, video, email, and other creative and product needs
- Organize and communicate with contracted partners
- Maintain and implement the brand voice and standards across all platforms
- Work with our digital marketing partner to consider content for search engines and analyze engagement, tracking KPIs across e-commerce, marketing, and social media platforms
- Manage the marketing calendar with short- and long-term content goals, providing consistent representation of all brand facets
- Exhibit an ongoing effort to stay current on the brand’s product offerings and industry standards
- Track current industry trends and content strategies
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content across key platforms
- Create visual branding for the company in the form of photo and video content
- Monitor engagement, KPIs, and report insights
- Monitor and respond to community interaction on social media and business platforms
- Write on-brand copy for captions, newsletter content, and marketing content
- Support brand campaigns, launches, and events through social promotion
- Serve as the primary in-house resource for design needs, including assets such as social media graphics, email visuals, website graphics, digital ads, product needs (such as labels, stickers, and boxes), internal and external one-pagers, presentations, and basic print materials
- Maintain visual consistency and adhere to brand guidelines
- Manage asset organization and version control
- Lead and create new product design in collaboration with relevant departments
- Manage the email marketing/SMS calendar in alignment with overall marketing priorities
- Create and deploy email campaigns, newsletters, and automated communications
- Coordinate copy, design, segmentation, and scheduling
- Monitor performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize campaigns accordingly
- Maintain brand consistency and ensure compliance with best practices
- Execute marketing initiatives developed by the Marketing & Communications Director
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and approvals for assigned projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather content and requirements
- Support PR, events, and partnerships with design and digital assets
- Be a motivational force for each department ensuring a unified work environment
- Coordinate with external vendors or developers as needed
- Perform all other duties requested by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising or Communications, with 2+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent of 4+ years of relevant experience and training)
- Experience in photography, design, editing, and digital marketing strategy
- Proven ability to use Canva, Meta platforms, TikTok, Adobe suite, Final Cut Pro, Klaviyo (or similar email/SMS), and Google Business platforms
- Proficiency in AP Style guidelines and the ability to create engaging content
- Command of the English language and ability to create engaging content
- Ability to manage and track multiple projects, track KPIs, and deliver regular reports
- Display engaging and creative vision for content
- Maintain open, honest communication, respond to feedback, and project management skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, resource-conscious environment
- Experience with CMS platforms, email marketing tools, and social media management platforms
- Current and evolving knowledge of social media trends
- Proficiency in photography, design tools, editing software, and strong visual judgment
- Clear written communication and copywriting skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to take direction and work independently
