Creamer Operator - 1st Shift

About the role

Kemps is seeking experienced machine operators to maintain, set up, and break down equipment and machinery, troubleshoot basic to moderate operating issues, and perform a variety of production and sanitation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, sanitize, and clean equipment and production areas (floors, walls, ceilings)
• Blend and produce cheese, including making starter
• Run all required tests and complete PASS sheets
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Basic math skills
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background)
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and being on your feet for extended periods
• Able to work in a fast-paced, wet, or food production environment
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Active, physical work involving standing, walking, and bending
• Exposure to moisture, cleaning products, and production equipment

Pay

$28.93 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts). Must be available to work overtime.
