CRE Credit Underwriter II

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Underwrite new money to new borrowers to the bank.
• Work in cooperation with relationship managers for initial deal review, modeling, and structuring.
• Order, obtain, and ascertain due diligence information as required.
• Analyze all available resources to prepare the credit approval document, change in terms.
• Coordinate with the relationship manager and credit team for proper credit approval.
• Engage and manage legal counsel to negotiate legal documentation in conjunction with the relationship manager.
• Complete and manage the closing, funding, and booking process in cooperation with the Funding Desk and Credit Collateral Operations.
• Complete internal and external post-closing items.
• Complete the underwriting process for deal amendments and restructurings.
• Engage in special projects and assignments as requested.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• College degree in accounting, finance, or economics required.
• Total work experience of 7+ years including 4+ years of CRE underwriting, credit, or originations experience.
• Proficient in basic software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel a plus.
• Attentive to detail and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage several detailed tasks and processes concurrently.

Working Conditions

• Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
• Some travel required.

Total Base Pay Range: $82,100.00 - $172,500.00 USD
